Acmetol 212 by Acmechem is a processing additive for rubber polymers. It is used to improve the general compound processing without significant influence on the physical properties. It acts as a dispersing agent for powdered materials and can shorten the mixing time by faster filler incorporation. It prevents sticking of elastomers and compounds to rotors and rolls. The addition of Acmetol 212 can reduce the risk of scorching, particularly in highly loaded compounds. It shows good plasticizing properties. Suitable for injection and transfer molding. It offers improved mold release. Recommended dosage level is 1 to 2% of the total batch weight. Acmetol 44 by Acmechem is a processing additive. It provides excellent improvement of processing behavior for a wide range of elastomers like NR, SBR, and EPDM (except for halogenated elastomers). It also acts as a cure activator and allows for reduced dosage of stearic acid. It is used as a flow promoter. It improves dispersion of mineral fillers and carbon black providing uniform viscosity from batch-to-batch. Acmetol 44 is suitable for extrusion, injection molding and transfer molding. Recommended dosage is 1-3 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Acmetol 50 by Acmechem is a processing aid and peptizer for natural rubber, lubricant and flow promoter. It improves reversion resistance and produces vulcanizates with greater resilience and tear strength. It can be used without blooming or adverse effect on rubber-to-metal or rubber-to-rubber adhesion. Due to the polymer chain lubricating effect, compounds containing Acmetol 50 exhibit lower viscosities under shear as well as enhanced flow rates, which improves mill roll release and provides smoother extrusion and calendaring. Recommended dosage level is 3 to 5 phr. It has a shelf life of 18 months. Acmetol 60 by Acmechem is non-blooming peptizing agent for natural rubber. It offers shorter mixing cycles. It is suitable for mastication in a separate stage, as well as for single stage mixing. Recommended dosage level is 3-5 phr. It has a shelf life of 18 months. Acmetol 222 by Acmechem is a processing additive for rubber polymers which is normally used to improve the general compound processing without significant influence on powdered materials and can shorten the mixing time by faster filler incorporation. It provides good plasticizing properties, dispersing and lubricating effect. It prevents sticking of elastomers and compounds to rotors and rolls. It can reduce the risk of scorching, particularly in highly loaded compounds. It is designed for injection and transfer molding. Acmetol 222 greatly improves filler dispersion as well as flow properties and release during processing, and demolding especially in nitrile compounds. Recommended dosage level is 0.5 to 2 phr. Acmetol T by Acmechem is a homogeniser and a general processing aid. It helps in mastication and homogenizing where a blend of polymers like NR/ PBR, NR/SBR is used in formulation. It also helps in very good dispersion of the filler in loaded compounds. It improves extrusion speed and reduces die swell. Recommended dosages is 2.0 phr in natural rubber, 2.5-3.0 phr in carbon loaded compound, 2.0-3.0 phr in microcellular sheets and inner soles. Acmetol T has a shelf life of 18 months.
