Sanitized® MB PU 22-71

Sanitized® MB PU 22-71 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial agent for textile and plastic applications. It offers highly effective and durable protection against bacteria (gram-positive and negative), yeast, algae, fungi and mold, and prevents the odor caused by them. It is ready to use and easy to dose. It is free from phthalates, arsenic, cadmium, TBT, mercury and lead. It is suitable for use in TPU, TPE, EVA, PVC, ABS, PA and PC that are generally used in extruded and injection molding articles.

• It provides good water-, weathering- and light resistance, and can be processed even at high temperatures up to 300°C.
• Its activity at the cellular level disrupts the metabolic processes of microorganisms, interrupting their ability to function, grow and reproduce.
• Substrates protected with Sanitized® MB PU 22-71 show good skin tolerance.
• It is designed for household and sanitary articles like brooms, brush bristles and handles, sealings, boards, films, sponges, containers, appliances and equipment, phones, toilet seats, bathtubs and sinks.
• It is also used in clothing items such as shoe insoles and in industrial applications such as filters, sealings, ropes, packaging, gaskets, films and housings.
• The recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0% relative to the total weight of the material to be protected.
