Sanitized® MB E 99-58

Sanitized® MB E 99-58 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial additive based on a natural active substance in form of silver ions encapsulated in a patented ceramic material. It provides a reliable effect against a large number of microbes such as bacteria and prevents formation of unpleasant odors caused by them. It is washing resistant and remains stable at temperatures up to 240°C. It offers good leach resistance, with no influence on light-, heat stability and gas fading. It is suitable for thermoplastic polymers which are generally used for sheets and extruded or molded parts.

• It is designed for household and sanitary articles such as brooms, brush bristles and handles, boards, films, sponges, container, appliances and equipment, phones, toilet seats, bathtubs and sinks.
• It is also used in clothing items such as shoe insoles, and in industrial applications such as filters, ropes, coatings, packaging, gaskets, films and housings.
• Substrates protected with Sanitized® MB E 99-58 are safe for man and environment.
• The recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0% relative to the total weight of the material to be protected.
• It is EU Regulations 10/2011 compliant, EFSA accepted, NSF verified, and US FDA, US EPA and EU BPR approved.
