SABOSTAT® DELA

SABOSTAT® DELA by Sabo is diethanolamide-based anti-static additive for plastics. It provides faster longer term anti-static effect as compared to ethoxylated alkylamines. It is ideal for use in electronics packaging applications due to its low moisture sensitivity and low basicity. SABOSTAT® DELA is compatible with polyolefins (PE, LDPE, PP), styrenic polymers (PS, ABS, SAN) and PVC. It is also useful in automotive applications where it provides a fast de-molding effect. The typical addition levels range from 0.2 to 0.5% for food and pharmaceutical packaging in polyolefins. Addition levels of 0.2 to 2.5% are typical in styrenic polymers, and 0.2 to 0.5% in PVC. It is listed on the AICS, DSL, NZIoC, ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, TCSI, PICCS and TSCA chemical inventories. It has pharmacopeia and food approval status in EU and USA. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
