IncroMold™ S by Cargill is an internal mold release agent. It improves cycle time and productivity in polyolefins. When dispersed evenly through the polymer, it migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer which reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and prevents any unwanted adhesion.
- It is suitable for use upto temperatures of around 270°C.
- It offers consistent mold release, scratch resistance, improved surface finish, continuous running, and reduced machine wear & cleaning.
- IncroMold™ S is recommended for polyamides (PA), ethylene vinyl acetates (EVA) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE).
- It is suitable for automotive and injection molding applications.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.2 to 0.5%.
- It has a shelf life of 1 year.
