VICTREX FG™ 140 by Victrex is an unreinforced thermoplastic polyetheretherketone by Victrex. Provides good chemical resistance to aggressive environments, suitable for sterilization. Offers long-term creep resistance, point and edge retention and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It is a high performance grade suggested for applications that require mechanical properties at ambient and elevated temperatures. Possible applications are cookware, fryers and rice cookers, fridges, beverage dispensers. VICTREX FG™ 140 is designed for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Also suitable for industrial aseptic processing and packaging. Other applications may include bottling and filling lines, meat, poultry, fish & dairy filtration and CIP equipment. It causes 40% increase in lifetime for oven conveying, reducing both downtime and maintenance costs.
