VICTREX FG™ 140 by Victrex is an unreinforced thermoplastic polyetheretherketone by Victrex. Provides good chemical resistance to aggressive environments, suitable for sterilization. Offers long-term creep resistance, point and edge retention and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It is a high performance grade suggested for applications that require mechanical properties at ambient and elevated temperatures. Possible applications are cookware, fryers and rice cookers, fridges, beverage dispensers. VICTREX FG™ 140 is designed for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Also suitable for industrial aseptic processing and packaging. Other applications may include bottling and filling lines, meat, poultry, fish & dairy filtration and CIP equipment. It causes 40% increase in lifetime for oven conveying, reducing both downtime and maintenance costs. It also lowers component cost by 80% thereby improving performance by replacing machined metal parts. It excels in high temperature environments, delivering up to 2x drier capacity compared to PPS. It complies with FDA and drinking water WRAS (UK).
