SX408:CM401 by SACO AEI Polymers is a silane crosslinkable polyethylene grade. The graft component SX408 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 generally in the ratio 95:5. Possesses excellent extrusion properties at high output rates and is curable by exposure to moist conditions. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. SX408:CM401 is specifically developed for cables operating up to 36kV. Used in conjunction with SX 539 crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields, strippable outer shields are possible using SX528.
