Silplus™ 70 HT by Momentive Performance Materials is a high temperature, heat-cured silicone rubber (HCR). It is based on peroxide catalyst system. Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is a ready-to-use, one-component resin. Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Shows low compression set, high clarity and good processability. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of Silplus™ 70 HT could be automotive, aviation and aerospace. Other applications include consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Silplus™ 80 HS by Momentive Performance Materials is heat cured silicone rubber. Exhibits very good processing, high mechanical properties, versatility, good dielectric properties, enhanced heat resistance and high tear strength. Designed for processing of extrusion, molding and calendaring applications. Silplus™ 80 HS complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP Class VI and ISO 10993 regulations. Silplus™ 70 CW by Momentive Performance Materials is heat cured silicone rubber. Exhibits excellent processing, high green strength, good mechanical profile, very good electrical properties and enhanced high temperature resistance. Used in cable and wire applications.
