Silplus™ 80 HT

Silplus™ 80 HT by Momentive Performance Materials is a heat cured silicone rubber (HCR) based on peroxide catalyst system. It is a ready-to-use, one-component, high temperature resin. Shows enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Exhibits low compression set, high clarity and good processability. Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications include consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Other applications of Silplus™ 80 HT could be automotive, aviation and aerospace.
