Silplus™ 50 HS

Silplus™ 50 HS by Momentive Performance Materials is a high strength, one-component heat cured silicone rubber (HCR). It is a ready-to-use resin based on peroxide catalyst system. Exhibits rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Offers low compression set, high clarity and good processability. Shows enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of Silplus™ 50 HS could be automotive, aviation and aerospace. Also used in consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Meets with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for indirect food contact, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 part 6, 10 & 11 testing and BfR XV requirements.
