Silplus™ 40 HS

Silplus™ 40 HS by Momentive Performance Materials is a one-component, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR) based on peroxide catalyst system. Possesses high strength, enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is a ready-to-use, one-component resin. Exhibits low compression set, high clarity and good processability. Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications include consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Silplus™ 40 HS can also be used in automotive, aviation and aerospace. Conforms to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for indirect food contact, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 part 6, 10 & 11 testing and BfR XV requirements.
