Silplus™ 70 HT

Silplus™ 70 HT by Momentive Performance Materials is a high temperature, heat-cured silicone rubber (HCR). It is based on peroxide catalyst system. Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is a ready-to-use, one-component resin. Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Shows low compression set, high clarity and good processability. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of Silplus™ 70 HT could be automotive, aviation and aerospace. Other applications include consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare.
