Acetron® GP POM-C by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a versatile, porosity-free, general-purpose, polyacetal, polyoxymethylene [POM] copolymer grade. It exhibits low moisture absorption and low coefficient of friction & good wear properties especially in wet environments. It provides high strength & stiffness coupled with high dimensional stability and excellent machinability capabilities. It offers resistance to wide range of chemicals including many solvents. It is suitable for processing by extrusion (bushing stock). Acetron® GP POM-C can be used in used in electrical components, scraper blades, gears and rollers. It complies with FDA, USDA, NSF, Canada AG and 3A-Dairy. Acetron® MD POM-C by Quadrant is a blue colored, light weight POM (acetal) grade. Acetron® MD is fully metal detectable up to more than 27mm<sup>3</sup>. Exhibits good wear resistance, good chemical resistance and good bearing performance in moist/wet applications. Ideal choice for elevated temperature applications with maximum continuous operating temperature of 180°F. Recommended for meat and poultry processing, dairy and cheese production and used in bearings/bushings, scraper blades, conveyor wear surfaces, change parts, timing screws and star wheels. Acetron® MD POM-C complies with FDA and EU Directive 2002/72 EC standards. Acetron® VMX POM-C by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer. It is visually, metal and x-ray detectable. It helps to improve the safety and integrity of food processing operations, food quality and overall production efficiencies. It complies with EU and NA regulations for plastics in contact with food. Acetron® MD by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a blue colored polyacetal, polyoxymethylene [POM] grade containing metal detectable additive. Exhibits low moisture absorption and low coefficient of friction & good wear properties especially in wet environments. Provides high mechanical strength, impact strength & stiffness coupled with high dimensional stability as well as ease of machining. Offers resistance to a wide range of chemicals including many solvents. Acetron® MD is used in food processing & packaging industries, funnels, gears, guiders, gripers and scrapers. Potential application include tolerance mechanical parts and electrical insulators. It complies with FDA and EU Directive 2002/72 EC.
