Royaltherm® 1721 by Lion Elastomers is a high performance, silicone-modified, ethylene propylene diene (EPDM) rubber. Provides good resistance to heat, flex fatigue, moisture and weather. Exhibits high tensile strength, mechanical strength at elevated temperature, electrical stability and good electrical properties in moist conditions. It retains physical properties even in hermetically sealed environments and compression recovery at low temperatures. It can be vulcanized with peroxides or sulfur/ accelerator systems. It can be blended with intermediate hardness applications. Royaltherm® 1721 is suitable for high temperature applications.
