AVALON® 65 AB

AVALON® 65 AB by Huntsman is a recyclable, antistatic, polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade free from phthalate and halogen. Shows superior bonding to polyurethane (PU), flex performance and easy processing with consistent quality. Exhibits outstanding abrasion-, excellent slip- and oil resistance. Provides high elasticity, resilience to oils, greases and numerous solvents, good flexibility over a wide temperature range, easy reliable bonding and colorability. Possesses matt/ shiny appearance and excellent surface definition. Offers good low temperature performance and durability. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. AVALON® 65 AB by Huntsman is used in footwear applications like outsoles, inlay soles, slippers, unit-soles, top-pieces, kippers, TPU/PU and components. It is a RoHS and REACH compliant grade.

KRYSTALFLEX® PE505

KRYSTALFLEX® PE505 by Huntsman is a specialty, plasticizer-free, optical aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) grade, containing adhesion promoter. It is suitable for cooler processing. It offers excellent hydrolysis and microbial resistance, good low temperature performance and excellent laminated transparency. It exhibits low-haze solution, outstanding clarity, ballistic resistant, good light, low laminating temperatures and shorter cycle times. It shows moisture resistance, higher adhesion, high elongation, chemical compatibility like polycarbonate, UV resistance and multiple design option. It provides tensile strength, impact resistance and good stability in humid conditions and at extreme temperatures. It can be processed by lamination, extruded film and injection molding. KRYSTALFLEX® PE505 by Huntsman is used in film for glass lamination applications and architectural security glazing. It is recommended for ballistic, blast, intrusion, vehicle armoring, rail and aerospace applications.

KRYSTALFLEX® PE499

KRYSTALFLEX® PE499 by Huntsman is a specialty, optical aliphatic, polyether based thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) grade, containing adhesion promoter. Exhibits ballistic resistant, low-haze solution, outstanding clarity and good light. Offers low laminating temperatures, warpage, modulus & hardness, excellent laminated transparency and shorter cycle times. Shows chemical compatibility like polycarbonate, moisture- & microbial-resistance, excellent adhesion to acrylic, high elongation, UV resistance and multiple design option. Provides tensile strength, impact resistance and good stability in humid conditions & at extreme temperatures. KRYSTALFLEX® PE499 by Huntsman is plasticizer-free, requires no special storage and is suitable for cooler processing. It can be processed by film extrusion and injection molding. It is used in windows, roofs, prison containment glazing, ballistic, blast & intrusion, physical containments and security barriers in buildings. Recommended for vehicle armoring, retail kiosk, hurricane & vandal glazing, liquid crystal laminates, computer screen, large asymmetrical GCP and thin gauge electronic laminates.
