KRYSTALFLEX® PE505 by Huntsman is a specialty, plasticizer-free, optical aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) grade, containing adhesion promoter. It is suitable for cooler processing. It offers excellent hydrolysis and microbial resistance, good low temperature performance and excellent laminated transparency. It exhibits low-haze solution, outstanding clarity, ballistic resistant, good light, low laminating temperatures and shorter cycle times. It shows moisture resistance, higher adhesion, high elongation, chemical compatibility like polycarbonate, UV resistance and multiple design option. It provides tensile strength, impact resistance and good stability in humid conditions and at extreme temperatures. It can be processed by lamination, extruded film and injection molding. KRYSTALFLEX® PE505 is used in film for glass lamination applications and architectural security glazing. It is recommended for ballistic, blast, intrusion, vehicle armoring, rail and aerospace applications.
