VESTAKEEP® Easy Slide 2 by Evonik is a carbon fiber-reinforced, wear and friction modified polyether ether ketone (PEEK). It provides a low coefficient of friction, increased abrasion resistance, and oil resistance. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is flame-resistant and has superior mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance. </li> <li>It is PTFE free and offers superior tribological properties, including resistance to high temperatures, pressure, and velocity. </li> <li>It is self-lubricating and delivers improved energy-efficiency and noise dampening. </li> <li>It can be processed on common injection molding machines for thermoplastics and can also be extruded. </li> <li>It is used in slide bearings, thrust washers, sealings, and transmission parts. </li> <li>It is suitable for industrial, automotive and mobility, energy, oil and gas, medical, and robotics applications, especially in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. </li> <li>It has a shelf life of 2 years. </li></ul>

It provides higher glass transition, ensuring higher effective use temperature (above 260°C based on operating conditions) and higher mechanical properties. It is designed for structural and sealing applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It exhibits exceptional chemical-, flame- and creep resistance, ensuring long-term durability under sustained mechanical loads.</li> <li>It offers high-temperature performance, maintains electrical insulative properties and resists degradation in critical electrochemical cells, allowing long operational lifespans.</li> <li>Arlon® 3160XT is recommended for electrolyzer, fuel cell components and applications where bolts, compression is used to assemble products and must remain tight.</li> <li>It is also used in valve seats, where the small size of hydrogen molecules require very high actuation force and the standard glass-filled PEEK may deform.</li></ul>
