Nylacast Moly by Nylacast is a cast nylon 6 grade. It improves crystallization, self-lubrication, low water absorption, wear-, chemical- and abrasion resistances in presence of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2). Exhibits compressive strength, high hardness, excellent machinability, improved mechanical- and anti-friction properties. Provides elevated temperatures upto 105°C, good PV and load bearing capabilities. Designed for processing by cast extrusion. Used in aerospace, railways, ship building, steel mills, quarrying, mining, cranes, conveyors, offshore, agriculture, waste management, construction, food and food packaging. Typical applications include rollers, spacers, slide pads, chain sheaves, wear strips, spacers, wear pads, bearings, bush, chain wheel, hose clamp, wear plates and bespoke components. Nylacast Moly by Nylacast complies with EC 1907/2006 (REACH), EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 2003/11/EC and UL 94 flame ratings.
