Nylatron® NSM PA6 by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a self-lubricating polyamide 6 (nylon 6) with solid lubricant. Provides weight and noise reduction, excellent cost vs. performance ratio value and corrosion resistance. Exhibits high mechanical strength, high pressure & velocity, stiffness, good fatigue resistance and excellent wear resistance. It offers good electrical insulating properties and good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma- and X-rays). It has high hardness & toughness, low coefficient of friction, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties and good machinability. Suitable for processing by gear rings and custom castings. It is used in a variety of bearing and structural applications such as wheels, diffuser nozzle, gears and custom parts. Potential applications include sleeve & slide bearings, wear pads, support & guide wheels, conveyor rollers and tension rollers. It can be used in sleeves for rollers, pulleys & pulley-linings, cams, buffer blocks and machined pads. It can also be used in hammer heads, scrapers, sprockets, seal-rings, feed screws, star wheels, cutting & chopping boards and insulators.
