Nylatron® LIG PA6 by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is an internally lubricated polyamide 6 (nylon 6) with oil-based lubricant. It improves load bearing performance and reduces coefficient of friction. Exhibits high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties and good resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays]. It has high hardness & toughness, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties and good machinability. It is suitable for processing by extrusion. Applications include sleeve & slide bearings, wear pads, support & guide wheels, conveyor rollers and tension rollers. It can be used in sleeves for wheels & rollers, pulleys & pulley-linings, cams, buffer blocks and hammerheads. It can also be used in scrapers, gear wheels, sprockets, seal-rings, feed screws, star wheels, insulators, cutting and chopping boards.
