Hytrel® 4056 ECO-B 452 by Celanese is a sustainable, bio-based, light stabilized thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC) grade. It includes mechanical & physical properties such as exceptional toughness and resilience. Provides high resistance to creep, impact & flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperatures and good retention of properties at elevated temperatures.
  • It resists many industrial chemicals, oils and solvents.
  • It also includes heat stabilised, flame retardant, food contact compliant, black pigments and UV protection additives.
  • It is suitable for injection & blow molding, film-, sheet- & other extrusion, compounding, coatable, calendring, casting and thermoforming processing.
  • It is plasticiser free.
  • The good melt stability enables the recycling of properly handled production waste.
  • It is a very low modulus grade with nominal durometer hardness of 40D and with high impact resistance down to -40°C.
  • It contains non-discoloring stabilizer.
  • It is used in demanding applications in the automotive, fluid power, electrical/electronic, consumer goods, appliance and power tool.
  • It is also used in sporting goods, furniture, industrial and off-road transportation/equipment industry.
  • It is utilized for hose, tubing, hose jackets, wire & cable jackets, film & sheeting, belting and seals.
  • It is partially produced using bio-feedstock derived from waste and results in reduced lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions & lower fossil resource use.
  • Hytrel® 4056 ECO-B 452 is certified bio-circular according to ISCC Plus mass balance approach.
