Ultramid® Advanced T2340G6 by BASF is a 25% glass fiber reinforced polybutylene terephthalate grade. It is free from halogen, flame retardant and can be processed by injection molding.
- It is light colorable and has a high melting point.
- It features low water absorption, good mechanical and dielectric properties at elevated temperatures, and solder bath resistance.
- It offers enhance fire resistance for components including household appliances, connectors, and power switches. Ultramid® Advanced T2340G6 meets the EN 45545 railway standard and is certified accordingly.
