Ultramid® A3XZC3 ESD BK23187

Ultramid® A3XZC3 ESD BK23187 by BASF is an impact-modified, carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 66 grade. It is high-performance plastic for rugged self-contained breathing apparatus. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is an injection molding grade with reduced surface resistivity, very good electrostatic properties and high mechanical stability. </li><li>Ultramid® A3XZC3 ESD BK23187 offers flame retardance based on red phosphorus for components requiring enhanced toughness and special requirements on electrical properties.</li><li> A specific component concept was developed for the M1 breathing system to address the requirements of firefighting operations.</li></ul>

Ultramid® A3U32

Ultramid® A3WG6

Ultramid® A3WG6 by BASF is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. This grade exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. It is resistant to heat aging, corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Ultramid® A3WG6 by BASF is processed by injection molding. It is used for machinery components and housings such as lamp socket housings, cooling fans, insulating profile for aluminum window frames, and different automotive powertrain parts.

Ultramid® A3K

Ultramid® A3K by BASF is an unreinforced, easy flowing, polyamide 66 (PA66) grade. It displays fast processing properties. It is the material with the greatest hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and thermostability. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid® A3K by BASF is suitable for electrical household appliances. It can also be used in terminal blocks, connectors, photovoltaics and automotive construction.

Ultramid® A3HG7 by BASF is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 35% glass fiber. It provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. This grade exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It possesses good elastic & dielectric properties, high heat-aging resistance, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Ultramid® A3HG7 by BASF is processed by injection molding. It is used for gear-wheels, solenoid valve housings, cable attachments, automobile manifolds and cylinder head covers as well as for electrical insulating parts.

Ultramid® 8270 HS

Ultramid® 8270 HS by BASF is a heat stabilized, thermally modified PA6 grade. Possesses good elastic properties, excellent melt strength, high melt viscosity, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent permeability and outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by blow molding and profile extrusion. It is recommended for industrial containers, small gasoline tanks and automotive under hood reservoirs. Ultramid® 8270 HS complies with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.

Ultramid® H33 L

Ultramid® H33 L by BASF is a thermoplastic polyamide (PI) with a high water permeability. It has high strength and hydrophilic properties that allows subsequent drying directly in the casing. Ultramid® H33 L is used in artificial casings in which sausages can be smoked and then dried.
