PEL-SIL™ PEG-12

PEG-12 Dimethicone. PEL-SIL™ PEG-12 by Elé Corporation acts as a plasticizer, emulsifier, emollient, humectant, wetting and conditioning agent. It produces water/silicone and silicone/water emulsions and leaves light, soft, silky and non-greasy after feel on the skin and hair. It provides dense foam, gloss and emolliency. It is stable in neutral, mildly acidic or alkaline aqueous solutions. It shows anionic surfactant compatibility and improved wet and dry combing. Its stability is reduced by strong acid or alkali. PEL-SIL™ PEG-12 finds application in formulating hair sprays, styling formulas, leave-in hair products, shampoos, skin care lotions, body washes and shaving creams. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian DSL, WHMIS, EINECS, AICS, KECI and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 24 months.
