BELSIL® OW 2100 DE

PEG-12 Dimethicone. BELSIL® OW 2100 DE by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a silicone fluid. It provides excellent conditioning effect with low dosage levels in formulation. In skincare formulation, it improves skin feeling and formulation stability as co-emulsifier in O/W systems. It can be used as a plasticizer to reduce the brittleness and exfoliate organic polymer in hair styling products.

• It offers improved silky smooth feeling and helps to form dense and stable foam and enhanced skin feel after washing.
• It is copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and organic glycol.
• It shows good compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients such as water and alcohol.
• It is stable in water systems.
• BELSIL® OW 2100 DE is used in eye make-up, make-up foundation, sun care, shampoos, conditioners, styling gels, leave-on products, lotions, shaving creams and body washes.
• It complies with REACH, AREC, NZIoC, ENCS, AIIC, IECSC, DSL, PICCS, TSCA and TCSI regulations.
