Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Emollients

This formulation demonstrates the multi-functional effectiveness of the CELQUAT® H-100 conditioning polymer in a clear antiperspirant system. Not only can this cationically modified cellulosic polymer be substantive to skin to enhance product aesthetics, it can also build viscosity in this high electrolyte environment. In this prototype, the CELQUAT H-100 polymer provides a good sensorial feeling and body, even without any additional emollient agent or thickener.

This formula produces a moisturizing gel with an attractive fragrance to apply on the skin or hair. The Floraesters K-20W Jojoba ensures a long-lasting fragrance note and emolliency to the skin.

This long-lasting eye liner is a water-free gel eyeliner providing rich intense color that does not flake, with a water-proof finish up to 24 hours. It contains PURESIL™ TMS IDD 50, a film former with no transfer and long lasting effect.

A formulation by Elkem Silicones.

Adds shine and tame frizz with this rich, creamy emulsion. Three different esters provide conditioning and gloss without greasiness in this non-silicone formula. Hydramol™ TGL Ester adds emolliency and conditioning to the water phase and serves as a substantive humectant in this product.

Polyglyceryl-3 Monooleate is used as a pigment wetting agent and as an emulsifier in this foundation. Polyglyceryl-6 Octastearate is also an emulsifier. Hydrogenated Soybean Oil and Hydrogenated Soybean Oil provide occlusion and emolliency, respectively.

An oleosome AP/DEO roll-on based on the combination of ARLAMOL™ PS15E emollient and BRIJ™ S2 and S721 emulsifiers. ARLAMOL PS15E stabilizes the AP active, preventing salt recrystallization. ARLASILK™ PTM enhances antimicrobial performance and provides a soft after-feel to delicate skin.
