MIRASIL™ C-DMP

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. MIRASIL™ C-DMP by Elkem Silicones is an emulsifier. It is a 10% dispersion of high molecular weight silicone polyether copolymer in cyclopentasiloxane. It offers softness, pigment dispersant properties, water repellency and transfer resistance. The delivery systems for both non-polar and polar ingredients: non-polar ingredients are dissolved in the external silicone phase and polar ingredients in the internal aqueous phase. This ingredient is designed specifically to prepare water-in-silicone emulsions. It can be easily prepared by slow addition of the aqueous phase to the oil phase using a variety of common mixing devices. MIRASIL™ C-DMP is used in color cosmetics, skin- & sun care and antiperspirants & deodorants. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months from its date of manufacturing.
