C13-15 Alkane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (10-20%) (and) Silica. PURESIL™ ORG 02 by Elkem Silicones is a silicone elastomer gel in a non-volatile C13-15 alkane. The alkane is derived from fermentation of sustainably source sugarcane and is 100% natural according to ISO 16128. It is the second generation of Elkem Silicones sustainability solution. This ingredient offers spreadability, slip, lubricity, skin blurring benefits, luxurious, matte finish and sebum absorption. It provides enhanced silky smooth & powdery skin feel and contributes soft focus masking skin imperfection. It thickens water in silicone emulsions and anhydrous system. It promotes radiance and disperses physical sunscreens effectively & uniformly resulting in SPF boosting. PURESIL™ ORG 02 is used in concealers, foundations, make-up base, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows, matte lip glaze, and lipsticks. It is also used in skin serum, moisturizers, anti-aging products, sun protections (cream and lotions) and suntan lotions. It is suitable for leave-in conditioners, spray, and styling products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
