PURESIL™ BSG-5041

Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. PURESIL™ BSG-5041 by Elkem Silicones is a dispersion of silicone crosspolymer in dimethicone. It is a sensory enhancer. It offers smoothness, moisturization feel, optically wrinkle masking, matte effect, non-greasiness and silky skin feel. This ingredient displays emolliency, conditioning, slip, optical effect, and stabilization. It enhances spreadability and contributes soft feel. It can be used in either hot or cold processes. It enhances the aesthetics of dimethicone, covers blemishes, absorbs sebum and boosts skin feel. PURESIL™ BSG-5041 may be used in make-up, skin-, hair- and sun care applications. It is used in foundations, make-up bases, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows, matte lip glaze, and lipsticks. It is designed for skin serum, moisturizers & anti-aging products, sun protection (cream and lotions), suntan lotions, leave-in conditioners, spray, and styling products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
