PAT-ADD DA 202 by Patcham (FZC) is a non-ionic wetting agent. It is APE-free and replaces products such as alkyl phenol ethoxylates, which are banned in certain areas based on high toxicity concerns. It is extremely low foaming. It provides strong prevention of pigment flocculation, floating, flooding, and pigment settling. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Offers maintenance of efficiency even after storage-stable viscosity. </li> <li>It is typically used in dispersion paints in conjunction with polycarboxylic dispersion agents, such as PAT-ADD DA 101 or 103. </li> <li>It is very suitable for use in universal colorants, as designed for tinting purposes of waterborne and solvent borne paints. </li> <li>It optimizes color development, paint stability, when added prior to milling. </li> <li>The optimal amount is to be used is system related, but generally is between 0.1 and 0.5%, calculated on the total weight of paint formulation. </li> <li>For use as wetting agent in universal colorants higher dosages are required, generally 2 to 10% on total weight of the colorant. </li> <li>PAT-ADD DA 202 is a REACH compliant grade.</li></ul>

PAT-ADD DA 301

PAT-ADD DA 301 by Patcham (FZC) is an anionic wetting agent and compatibiliser. It shows extreme strong wetting efficiency and cures rub-up problems. It is multifunctional and compatible with a wide range of waterborne as well as of solventborne paint systems. It is strongly adsorbed onto inorganic pigments and extenders, thus creating a dense charged layer, which contributes to electrostatic stabilization of the dispersed pigment and extender particles. The tendency of pigment flocculation, during paint production, storage or application is reduced, whereas properties like viscosity stability on storage, color development, opacity are being optimized, using PAT-ADD DA 301. Improves the adhesion of paints and inks if applied onto polar substrates. The optimal amount of to be used is system related, but generally is between 0.1 and 0.5% calculated on the total weight of paint formulation, in case of post addition typically higher levels are needed, such as approx 1% product on total weight of paint. For use as wetting agent in colorants/ tinters (typically in conjunction with PAT-ADD DA 601) higher dosages are required, generally 2 to 5% on total weight of the colorant or tinter. PAT-ADD DA 103 by Patcham (FZC) is a 45% solids polymeric dispersing agent for inorganic pigments. PAT-ADD DA 1801 by Patcham (FZC) acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for use in solvent borne paints and inks. It is a solution of a polymer with acidic groups. Reduces the viscosity of the millbase, thus optimises the milling process, enabling high pigment loading and best color development. Furthermore, it improves gloss and levelling. PAT-ADD LE 1019 by Patcham (FZC) is a polysiloxane compound. Acts as a slip control, mar resistance and levelling agent. It is a highly concentrated, solvent-free surface modifier, showing a very wide compatibility range. Provides excellent slip, surface smoothness, scratch and mar resistance properties. Contributes to improved flow and leveling in solvent-based as well as solvent-free systems. It is a very efficient surface tension modifier, effective at very low concentrations. It demonstrates excellent efficiency, avoiding formation of craters, pinholes and poor substrate coverage of coatings applied onto critical substrates such as improperly cleaned substrates as well as low surface tension substrates. Used in NC, PUR, acid cured wood finishes, automotive refinishes, industrial paints and inks, including UV curing systems and overprint varnishes. PAT-ADD LE 1019 may be added to the formulation during any stage of paint/ ink production. Its recommended dosage for slip and mar application is between 0.02 and 0.2%, for leveling is between 0.05 to 0.2% and for printing inks and overprint varnishes is 0.05 to 0.8%. PAT-ADD AF 11 by Patcham (FZC) is a defoamer for use in waterborne coatings like dispersion paints as well as in aqueous inks and pigment dispersions. It is a mineral oil based compound and is water-dispersible, but requires strong incorporation forces in order to be properly dispersed.
