PAT-ADD DA 1801

Supplied byPatcham (FZC)- Last Updated on Dec 21, 2024

PAT-ADD DA 1801 by Patcham (FZC) acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for use in solvent borne paints and inks. It is a solution of a polymer with acidic groups. Reduces the viscosity of the millbase, thus optimises the milling process, enabling high pigment loading and best color development. Furthermore, it improves gloss and levelling. The anionic, slightly acidic character it ideal to be used for acid catalysed systems.
  • It shows excellent performances, if used in conjunction with polymeric dispersing agents, such as PAT-ADD DA 934.
  • Possesses strong prevention of pigment flocculation, floating, flooding, and pigment settling.
  • It is particularly suitable for the formulation of pigment concentrates, as used in industrial and automotive systems.
  • It is used for inorganic as well as organic pigments, particularly for titanium dioxide and main organic pigments.
  • The optimal amount to be used is system related, but generally is between 0.4 and 1.5 % PAT-ADD DA 1801, calculated on the total weight of paint formulation.
  • PAT-ADD DA 1801 complies with REACH.
