UviCure S105 by Lambson (Sartomer) acts as a cationic photoinitiator. It is a low viscosity 7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]hept-3-ylmethyl 7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]heptane-3-carboxylate (standard cycloaliphatic epoxy base resin). Cycloaliphatic epoxides will rapidly polymerize in the presence of strong cationic photoinitiators such as Speedcure 992 and Speedcure 976. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It exhibits low shrinkage, excellent adhesion, high crosslink density, high Tg, no oxygen inhibition, good combination of flexibility and hardness. </li> <li> When cured with cationic photoinitiators such as Speedcure 992 or Speedcure 976, it yields clear and glossy coatings. </li> <li> UviCure S105 is suitable for metal decoration coatings, overprint varnishes, white base coats, flexographic inks, screen inks, inkjet inks and electrical coatings. </li> </ul>

Acts as a cationic photoinitiator. It is a more flexible cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. Exhibits low shrinkage, excellent adhesion, no oxygen inhibition and good combination of flexibility and hardness. When cured with cationic photoinitiators such as Speedcure 992 or Speedcure 976, it yields clear, glossy coatings. Properties of the cured resin can be modified by the use of other additives and diluents such as UviCure S105 and UviCure S130 to improve hardness and scratch resistance. UviCure S128 is suitable for metal decoration coatings, overprint varnishes, white base coats, flexographic inks, screen inks, inkjet inks and electrical coatings.
