Silcolease® RE POLY 368 by Elkem Silicones is solvent-free, 100% recycled silicone polymer for release liners, labels and tapes. It transforms silicone waste into new, high-performance silicone release coatings through Elkem’s pioneering method. It is a sustainable product developed by patented depolymerization technology. It provides reliable non-stick and easy-release properties of self-adhesive materials. It demonstrated the same processing capabilities as virgin ones, even when running at high processing speed. Silcolease® RE POLY 368 has 70% lower carbon footprint compared to its non-recycled counterparts. Silcolease® RE POLY 11362 by Elkem Silicones is 100% recycled, solvent-free silicone polymer designed for release liners, labels and tapes. Silcolease® RE POLY 11362 has 70% lower carbon footprint compared to its non-recycled counterparts. Silcolease® ADD 382 by Elkem Silicones is a silicone adhesion promoter. Offers long term aging performance and has been particularly developed for untreated PET film. Provides long lasting anchorage on PET even in contact with aggressive adhesives and long lasting anchorage on PET in high humidity conditions. Silcolease® ADD 382 is used with a reactive solventless silicone polymer system for polyester (PET) film release coating applications. Silcolease® PC-94 by Elkem Silicones is an emulsion of dioctyl tin dilaurate. It is the catalyst component of a silicone release formulation and promotes polymerization through a polycondensation reaction. It is dilution- and shear stable. Silcolease® PC-94 when properly formulated with a release polymer emulsion, provides a thermally curable release coating for paper substrates. Silcolease® UV CATA 211 by Elkem Silicones is a diaryliodonium salt in solution. Acts as a photoinitiator. Exhibits curing at room temperature, very high catalysed bath stability and high reactivity. Silcolease® UV CATA 211 is suitable for the polymerization of Silcolease® UV POLY 200. Silcolease® PC-95 by Elkem Silicones is an emulsion of a proprietary platinum complex with low volatile components and specially formulated to reduce “dust” formation in curing ovens. It is dilution- and shear stable. Silcolease® PC-95 is the catalyst component of a silicone release formulation and promotes polymerization through a polyaddition reaction. When properly formulated with a release polymer emulsion, it provides a thermally curable release coating for paper substrates. It is Kosher certified. Silcolease® MRA-385 by Elkem Silicones is a 2nd generation mist reducing agent. Based on branched silicone polymer technology, Silcolease® MRA-385 is effective at much lower doses than 1st generation mist reducing products at line speeds up to 1600 m/min. It can be easily incorporated into solventless silicone polymer systems and exhibits no effect on cure or other release coating properties. Used with solventless SILCOLEASE polyaddition release systems processed at high running speeds. Typical addition levels from 2% to 6% are sufficient for most applications up to about 1000 m/min. Conforms to the regulations currently in force (BGVV Chapter XVA-XXXVI and FDA-CFR 21 – 175.300; 176.170). Silcolease® Catalyst 93 B by Elkem Silicones is a platinum complex diluted in a solvent. Acts as a catalyst. It is used in polyaddition reaction only. Used for the solvent based silcolease® systems such as Silcolease® 7440, intended for release coating of paper, film and various substrates. Silcolease® HA-1 by Elkem Silicones is a water-based emulsion. Acts as an adhesion promoter. It is used with emulsion Silcolease® polyaddition or polycondensation release systems to improve hold-out of the silicone. Exhibits lower silicone consumption, potential to use more porous papers, improved release performance, extended bath life and reduced foaming. It is a clear liquid and is free of conglomerates. Suitable for use in release coatings. The addition of Silcolease® HA-1 into any of the already certified Silcolease® systems gives a cured final film which conforms to the regulations currently in force concerning contact with foodstuffs (BGVV Chapter XVA - XXXVI and FDA-CFR 21 - 175-300 ; 175-320; 176-170; 176-180). Recommended dosage ranges between 50 to 500 ppm. Silcolease® UV CATA 101 by Elkem Silicones is a free radical photoinitiator. Provides release properties against a wide range of adhesive materials. Curing of the coating by UV radiation is rapid and efficient, resulting in stable release performance and excellent anchorage to the substrate. It is intended for use with Silcolease® UV Poly 110/UV RCA 170 release chemistry for coating onto a broad selection of paper and film substrates. Also used for UV curing of silicone acrylate release coatings. Typical addition level is 3% Silcolease® UV CATA 101 by weight on the total formulated bath.
