Silcolease® HA-1

Silcolease® HA-1 by Elkem Silicones is a water-based emulsion. Acts as an adhesion promoter. It is used with emulsion Silcolease® polyaddition or polycondensation release systems to improve hold-out of the silicone. Exhibits lower silicone consumption, potential to use more porous papers, improved release performance, extended bath life and reduced foaming. It is a clear liquid and is free of conglomerates. Suitable for use in release coatings. The addition of Silcolease® HA-1 into any of the already certified Silcolease® systems gives a cured final film which conforms to the regulations currently in force concerning contact with foodstuffs (BGVV Chapter XVA - XXXVI and FDA-CFR 21 - 175-300 ; 175-320; 176-170; 176-180). Recommended dosage ranges between 50 to 500 ppm.
