THIXATROL® ST by Elementis acts as a rheological additive for use in aliphatic and aromatic solvent-based coatings. It is an organically modified castor oil derivative. It provides increased viscosity, thixotropy, pigment suspension and sag control. It improves the flow and leveling of powder coatings. It is suitable for chlorinated rubber- and decorative coatings, traffic- and anti-fouling paints.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers controlled penetration into porous substrates and imparts excellent package stability and reproducibility.</li>
<li>It shows no adverse effect on paint durability and no influence on water-resistance of organic systems.</li>
<li>It is non-yellowing in the final formulation and does not normally react with system components.</li>
<li>THIXATROL® ST is used in epoxies, polyurethanes, varnishes, air dry industrial-, high build- and hammer finishes.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.8% by weight.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> THIXATROL® P230X by Elementis is a special polyamide wax dispersion based rheology modifier which prevents settling of pigments and fillers and improves sag resistance. It shows excellent anti-settling of heavy pigments such as micaceous iron oxides, zinc dust and anti-corrosive pigments; in some instances, soft settling may occur which can be easily re-dispersed.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It imparts strong thixotropic properties and anti-sagging effect especially in high film-build coatings.</li>
<li>It easy to disperse and enhances orientation of metallic and pearlescent pigments.</li>
<li>It is used in paints, protective-, wood-, auto refinish-, general industrial-, and solvent-based coatings and inks.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 1.0-5.0%.</li>
<li>THIXATROL® P230X has a shelf life of 18 months.</li></ul> THIXATROL® P2100W by Elementis is a special polyamide based waterborne rheology modifier which provides anti-sagging, anti-settling properties.<br>

<li>THIXATROL® P2100W has a shelf life of 2 years.</li></ul> THIXATROL® GST by Elementis is a non-yellowing, organically modified derivative of castor oil-based rheological additive with inorganic flow control agent. It is suitable for aliphatic and aromatic solvent borne coatings.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> Provides thixotropy and sag control without sacrifice of flow and levelling.</li>
<li> Offers increased viscosity and contributes to pigment suspension.</li>

It is a modified EVA emulsion copolymer for enhancing the metallic and pearlescent pigments orientation in the coating film through the particle’s steric hindrance mechanism. It slightly affects low shear viscosity when the dosage is increased.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be used with low-shear thixotropic additives to achieve optimal metallic orientation. </li>
<li>Based on proprietary steric hindrance technology, it offers superior metallic pigment orientation with minimal impact on viscosity, enabling brilliant visual effects and consistent flake alignment.</li>
<li>It improves gloss, opacity, and flop index while maintaining formulation freedom and processing efficiency.</li>
<li>Compared to clay-type additives, it is less likely to cause issues such as water separation, post-thickening, and excessive viscosity when the dosage is increased. </li>
<li>It is a 100% water-based solution free from co-solvents, delivering excellent stability without pre-activation.</li>
<li>Direct-add and spray-compatible, it simplifies production by reducing dilution needs and preventing common issues like settling, post-thickening, or water separation making it ideal for next-generation automotive finishes and fast-paced development environments.</li>
<li>THIXATROL® 5050W is suitable for various applications, including automobile-, industrial-, plastic-, architectural-, wood- and furniture-, as well as leather- coatings and water-based metallic paint system.</li>

<li>It has a shelf life of 18 months.</li></ul> THIXATROL® P220X by Elementis is a special polyamide-based rheology modifier which builds up a strong structure in almost all solvent-based systems such as paints, inks. It is an anti-sagging and anti-settling agent that increases viscosity and imparts stronger thixotropic properties than conventional additives. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be easily dispersed by high speed dissolver.</li>
<li>It specially affects aluminum paste, MIO, red lead, zinc-dust and anti-corrosive pigment.</li>
<li>Prevents the settlement of pigment and hard caking.</li>
<li>It is trouble free from seeding, gloss reduction and inter-coat adhesion.</li>
<li>It shows stability on sagging (strong anti-sagging effect is suitable for high build coatings).</li>
<li>It is used in architectural, marine paints and heavy duty coatings.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 1.0-5.0% based on the total formulation (by
weight).</li>
<li>THIXATROL® P220X has a shelf life of 2 years.</li></ul> THIXATROL® PLUS by Elementis is a cost effective and 100% active organic rheological additive. It provides viscosity control, thixotropy and excellent sag resistance. It is seed-resistant and allows high temperature processing, packaging and storage. It exhibits significantly improved inter-coat adhesion properties compared with earlier diamide-based thixotropes.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It has a broad tolerance to various solvents, including aliphatic, aromatics, ketones and esters.</li>
<li>Used in industrial coatings, high solids aromatic paints, chlorinated rubber primer and topcoats, vinyl topcoats, aromatic traffic paint, epoxy polyamide topcoats and polyester coatings.</li>
<li>It is also suitable for two component polyurethane systems.</li>
<li>THIXATROL® PLUS has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.</li></ul> THIXATROL® AS 8024 by Elementis is a finely micronized polyamide rheological additive. It is recommended for the use in solvent-borne and solvent-free medium to higher polar liquid organic systems. It is suitable as a thickener or anti-settling agent in paints, coatings and other formulations.<br>

<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It shows significantly improved inter-coat adhesion properties in comparison to earlier diamide-based thixotropes.</li>
