Inokem® 3836-70

Inokem® 3836-70 by Ecoat is a water-reducible short oil hydroxyl alkyd resin for waterborne wood- and metal coatings. It provides very good adhesion and excellent corrosion-, water- and impact resistance. It requires neutralization with ammonia, dimethylethanolamine, or triethylamine before water addition. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It acts as a highly flexible and fast-drying binder for 1K or 2K topcoats and primers. </li> <li>It can also be blended with amino resins for bake solidify type coatings. </li> <li>Inokem® 3836-70 has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul>

Secoia® 1501

Secoia® 1501 by Ecoat is a low yellowing, very low VOC/SVOC, cost competitive, bio-sourced (biopreferred) alkyd emulsion. It acts as a binder for waterborne indoor wall paints and architectural coatings. It can be blended with std water-based binders to improve application properties such as open time and leveling.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides good wet scrub resistance, opacity, hardness, good interaction with thickeners and good adhesion on aged alkyd paints. </li> <li>It easily lowers the carbon footprint of coatings by advantageously replacing traditional alkyd binders and substituting petro-based styrene-acrylics, while holding coatings performance and formulation.</li> <li>Secoia® 1501 is USDA Certified and complies with EU Ecolabel, A+ indoor air emissions rating and OK biobased certification.</li></ul>
