Solkem 1002 by Ecoat is a solvent-free, long-oil drying alkyd based on linoleic rich fatty acid. It offers low viscosity, high solid, hydrolysis resistance, good brushability, outdoor durability and penetration properties. It is a versatile binder for interior and exterior wood applications. It can be used in stain, decorative application and wood oils for garden furniture. The recommended shelf life of Solkem 1002 is 12 months. It complies with EC No. 1907/2006 REACH 2.0 regulation. Solkem 1004 by Ecoat is a long-oil drying alkyd based on linoleic rich fatty acid. It offers good brushability, outdoor durability and gloss level. It provides quick drying, very limited yellowing, low viscosity and broad compatibility. Solkem 1004 is a versatile binder for interior and exterior high gloss paints. It can be stored for 12 months. It is EC No. 1907/2006 REACH 2.0 compliant. Solkem 3840 by Ecoat is a short oil hydroxyl and water dispersible alkyd resin. It shows fast drying, very good adhesion, excellent corrosion resistance and very good water resistance. It is suitable for use in fast air-dry topcoats and primers. Solkem 3840 can also be blended with amino resin for bake solidify-type coatings. Its shelf life is 12 months. It complies with EC No. 1907/2006 REACH 2.0 regulations. Solkem EXP 242 by Ecoat is a medium polyamide-modified thixotropic alkyd resin. It provides medium gel strength, limited yellowing and air drying. It is an excellent binder for paints and lacquers. Solkem EXP 242 is used in wood and metal coatings. It complies with EC No. 1907/2006 specification. Solkem 1028 by Ecoat is a short-oil drying alkyd based on linoleic fatty acid. It can be blended with nitrocellulose, melamine formaldehyde, urea formaldehyde and isocyanate. Solkem 1028 can be used for the manufacturing of air drying & stoving primers and finishes.
