Secoia® 1501 by Ecoat is a low yellowing, very low VOC/SVOC, cost competitive, bio-sourced (biopreferred) alkyd emulsion. It acts as a binder for waterborne indoor wall paints and architectural coatings. It can be blended with std water-based binders to improve application properties such as open time and leveling.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides good wet scrub resistance, opacity, hardness, good interaction with thickeners and good adhesion on aged alkyd paints. </li>
<li>It easily lowers the carbon footprint of coatings by advantageously replacing traditional alkyd binders and substituting petro-based styrene-acrylics, while holding coatings performance and formulation.</li>
<li>Secoia® 1501 is USDA Certified and complies with EU Ecolabel, A+ indoor air emissions rating and OK biobased certification.</li></ul> Secoia® EXP 051 by Ecoat is an APEO-free, aqueous emulsion of a bio-sourced alkyd resin with colloidal stabilization. It contains 100% renewable content. It is an excellent binder for paints and lacquers. Secoia® EXP 051 is designed for use in wood stains and impregnation. Its shelf life is 12 months. Secoia® 4487 by Ecoat is a low VOC, waterborne, disruptive long-oil alkyd emulsion for deep wood impregnation. It is a bio-sourced, surfactant-free, highly hydrophobic, non-film forming binder that offers similar to higher performance than solvent-borne systems. It offers easy maintenance and outdoor durability. <br>

It contains renewable content above 96%. It provides fast hardness development, low early tack and yellowing with time. It is an excellent binder for low VOC mat, sheen and satin applications. Secoia® 4400 is suitable for use in gloss trim paints. The recommended shelf life is 12 months. Secoia® 1400 by Ecoat is a low VOC & low odor bio-based alkyd emulsion. It is low carbon footprint water-based binder for interior wall paint. Compatible for blending with existing petro-based aqueous binder. It provides very good applicability, adhesion, scrub resistance, good reactivity with associative thickeners. It does not contain coalescing agent. Secoia® 1400 complies with USDA, Ecolabel and OK bio-based.
