Inokem® 3836-70 by Ecoat is a water-reducible short oil hydroxyl alkyd resin for waterborne wood- and metal coatings. It provides very good adhesion and excellent corrosion-, water- and impact resistance. It requires neutralization with ammonia, dimethylethanolamine, or triethylamine before water addition.
- It acts as a highly flexible and fast-drying binder for 1K or 2K topcoats and primers.
- It can also be blended with amino resins for bake solidify type coatings.
- Inokem® 3836-70 has a shelf life of 12 months.
