Nucrel® 599 by Dow is a tough, lightweight, easily processed and flexible ethylene acid copolymer resin. Used in glass, powder and metal coatings. Does not need for plasticizers. Can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Offers good adhesion to metals and polar substrates and low viscosity. Can be cryogenically ground into a powder. Nucrel® 599 gives no migration problems, no embrittlement, very good durability and weatherability and low temperature impact and low specific gravity. Can be pigmented, painted, foamed, or plated for decorative effects. Does not need for plasticizers. Nucrel® 0910 offers very good resistance to grease and oils, no migration problems, no embrittlement, very good durability and weatherability, and low specific gravity. Nucrel® 960 allows high pigment loadings for concentrates.
