Nucrel® 599 by Dow is a tough, lightweight, easily processed and flexible ethylene acid copolymer resin. Used in glass, powder and metal coatings. Does not need for plasticizers. Can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Offers good adhesion to metals and polar substrates and low viscosity. Can be cryogenically ground into a powder. Nucrel® 599 gives no migration problems, no embrittlement, very good durability and weatherability and low temperature impact and low specific gravity.
