Nucrel® 960 by Dow is tough, lightweight, easily processed and flexible ethylene acid copolymer resin. Used in heat sealable coating, as a carrier resin for color concentrates and in metal and glass coatings. Does not need for plasticizers. Can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Offers good flow characteristics and adhesion to metals and polar substrates. Nucrel® 960 allows high pigment loadings for concentrates. Gives very good resistance to grease and oils, no migration problems, no embrittlement, very good durability, weatherability, low temperature impact and low specific gravity.
