FoamStar® ST 2434

by BASF

FoamStar® ST 2434 (Old name: FoamStar® A34) by BASF is a mineral oil-free defoamer. It offers very fast bubble-break, easy incorporation and efficiency against microfoam. It does not reduce gloss of high gloss paints and coatings. Does not separate or settle. It gives efficiency even in difficult to defoam high gloss formulations, good persistence and efficiency in white bases and pastes. FoamStar® ST 2434 is used in high gloss paints and coatings based on acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acrylic latex. It has a shelf life of one year.

FoamStar® SI 2293

by BASF

FoamStar® SI 2293 by BASF is a VOC-free, highly compatible silicone-based defoamer solution. It is a modified polydimethylsiloxane-based. It provides minimized risk of cratering. Suitable for high-gloss paints and varnishes based on acrylics and polyurethane dispersions. FoamStar® SI 2293 is recommended for low-VOC systems. It is also used in wood paints and stains.

FoamStar® SI 2210 NC

by BASF

FoamStar® SI 2210 NC by BASF is a mixture of specially modified alcohols and a polysiloxane adduct. Non-ionic character. Acts as a defoamer for non-pigmented and low-pigmented aqueous coatings and UV-curing systems. It is highly compatible, does not separate out of the paint and has a good long-term efficiency. FoamStar® SI 2210 NC is used for applications like aqueous wood coatings and overprint varnishes. It has shelf life of 2 years.

FoamStar® SI 2213

by BASF

FoamStar® SI 2213 by BASF is a defoamer based on polymeric dispersion. It shows excellent compatibility based on finely dispersed acrylics. It has little to no effect on the swelling of rubber stereos, inking rollers or blankets. This colorless, slightly cloudy liquid is a mixture of foam-destroying polymers, emulsifiers and silicone. It prevents foam in clear and lowly pigmented aqueous coatings. FoamStar® SI 2213 is suitable for printing inks and architectural coatings. Its shelf life is 2 years. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5%.

FoamStar® ED 2521

by BASF

FoamStar® ED 2521 by BASF is an emulsion defoamer. It is easy to incorporate and provides good foam suppression during grinding as well as during application. It retains antifoam efficiency even during extended storage and has extremely low SVOC content. It is suitable for all flat to semi-gloss aqueous coatings. It is recommended for low-VOC systems. It is used in high PVC paints, matt/interior, silk/semi-gloss, exterior- and elastic paints.

FoamStar® SI 2220

by BASF

FoamStar® SI 2220 (Old name: Dehydran® 2620) by BASF is a silicone-based defoamer for aqueous coatings. It is a mixture of polymers and polysiloxanes. Exhibits rapid bubble break and good persistence. Maintains the gloss of the coatings. Prevents air entrapment/foam in semi-gloss and high gloss architectural paints and water-borne industrial coatings. Possesses low odor. Does not stratify in storage. Used in architectural paints and industrial coatings. The recommended dosage level of FoamStar® SI 2220 is 0.1-0.5% calculated on total formulations.

FoamStar® ED 2526

by BASF

FoamStar® ED 2526 by BASF is a defoamer. It is APE-free emulsion of organic polymers and organic metal-compounds. It is recommended for various water based coating systems, paints and lacquers. It prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring and pumping. The recommended dosage is 0.1–1.0% on total formulation. FoamStar® ED 2526 is designed for use in coatings based on alkyd resin solutions and alkyd resin emulsions.

FoamStar® SI 2250

by BASF

FoamStar® SI 2250 by BASF is a modified polydimethylsiloxane-based defoamer. Suitable for water-based coatings and pigment concentrates where high-shear processing or application exists. FoamStar® SI 2250 is recommended for low-VOC systems. Used in colorants and silk/semi-gloss paints.

FoamStar® ST 2400

by BASF

FoamStar® ST 2400 (Old name: FoamStar® I 300) by BASF is a defoamer. It offers very fast bubble-break versus conventional defoamers. It provides good persistence, non-settling and non-separating properties. FoamStar® ST 2400 shows efficiency against small bubbles as well as large bubbles. It is used in industrial coatings. It has a shelf life of one year.
