FoamStar® ED 2521 by BASF is an emulsion defoamer. It is easy to incorporate and provides good foam suppression during grinding as well as during application. It retains antifoam efficiency even during extended storage and has extremely low SVOC content. It is suitable for all flat to semi-gloss aqueous coatings. It is recommended for low-VOC systems. It is used in high PVC paints, matt/interior, silk/semi-gloss, exterior- and elastic paints.
