Basonat® HA 3000 (old name: Basonat® HA 300) by BASF is a low viscous, allophanate-modified polyisocyanate based on isocyanurated hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is suitable for waterborne, solvent-free and solvent-based systems.<br>

<li>Basonat® HA 3000 is used in general industrial coatings and paints for automotive and transportation (commercial vehicle) applications.</li></ul> Basonat® HI 2000 by BASF is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate. It is a low viscosity version of Basonat® HI 100. It offers excellent gloss retention and light stability with outstanding weather-, chemical- and abrasion resistance. It has excellent hardness/flexibility for demanding applications. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li> It has lower viscosity for low VOC coatings. </li>
<li> It has excellent color stability in formulated automotive refinish clearcoat hardeners. </li>
<li> It is recommended for automotive, plastic, and industrial coatings applications. </li></ul> Basonat® IT 170 B by BASF is polyfunctional isocyanurates of isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). Can be thinned with esters such as butyl acetate, ketones, glycolether acetates and aromatic hydrocarbons (such as Solvesso®1 100, xylene). Suitable for crosslinking most hydroxylic acrylates, polyester and polyether resins. Basonat® IT 170 B is used to formulate polyurethane coatings with particularly good fastness to light and weathering. It must be ensured that all solvents, pigments, extenders etc. are free from compounds containing active hydrogen groups (such as water, amines etc.). Basonat® HA 1000 (old name: Basonat® HA 100) by BASF is an allophanate-modified polyisocyanate based on isocyanurated hexamethylene diisocyanate. Offers lightfastness and weather-resistance. Is a solvent-free, low-viscosity, polyfunctional isocyanate. It can be diluted with esters (butyl acetate), ketones (methyl ethyl ketone), glycol ether acetates (methoxypropyl acetate) or aromatic hydrocarbons (Solvesso 100, xylene). Used to crosslink most hydroxy acrylic resins. Recommended for high solids, two-pack polyurethane coatings. Suitable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture, or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. Basonat® HA 1000 is listed with TSCA § 5 PMN, OSHA and EPCRA 311/312. Solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on isocyanurate-modified hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Exhibits excellent weather and chemical resistance, excellent hardness, flexibility and non-yellowing properties. Can be diluted with esters, ketones, glycolether acetates or with aromatic hydrocarbons. Used to crosslink most hydroxy-containing resins and hydroxy functional polyesters. Recommended for lightfast and weather-resistant two-pack polyurethane coatings. Suitable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. It is listed with TSCA, OSHA, and EPCRA 311/312. Basonat® HB 175 MP/X by BASF is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on biuret-modified hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Exhibits excellent weather and chemical resistance, non-yellowing and excellent physical properties. Is an approximately 75% solids solution in a 1:1 blend of 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate and xylene. Can be diluted with esters, ketones, glycolether acetates or with aromatic hydrocarbons. Used to crosslink most hydroxy-containing resins and hydroxy functional polyesters. Recommended for the formulation of lightfast and weather-resistant coatings. Suitable for use in primers for difficult substrates such as aluminum or plastics. Applicable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. Basonat® HB 175 MP/X is listed with TSCA, OSHA, and EPCRA 311/312. Water-emulsifiable polyfunctional isocyanate. Acts as a crosslinking agent. It is based on isocyanurated hexa-methylene diisocyanate and isophorone diisocyanate, 80% solution in n-butyl acetate. Offers fast drying and excellent hardness. It reacts with polyol to give 2k waterborne coatings. Recommended for water-based 2K PU coatings. Basonat® HW 1000 (old name: Basonat® HW 100) by BASF is an emulsifier-modified polyisocyanate based on isocyanurated hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Acts as a crosslinker for polymeric dispersions containing reactive OH groups. Exhibits excellent weather- & chemical resistance, and excellent adhesion to various substrates. It is low VOC, water-emulsifiable, solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate. It can be mixed with many low viscosity polyisocyanates such as Basonat® HA 1000. Suitable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture, or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. Basonat® HW 1000 is listed with DSL and WHMIS. Aliphatic polyisocyanates based on isocyanurated hexamethylene diisocyanate. Offers lightfastness and weather-resistance. Is a 68 % solution in a 1 : 1 blend of n-butyl acetate and Solvesso® 100. Can be diluted with esters such as butylacetate, ketones such as methyl ethyl ketone, glycolether acetates such as methoxypropyl acetate, or with aromatic hydrocarbons such as Solvesso® 100 or xylene. Used to crosslink most hydroxy acrylic resins and hydroxy polyesters. Suitable for the formulation of two-pack polyurethane coatings. Basonat® HW 2100 by BASF is a water-dilutable hydrophilically-modified polyisocyanate. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Exhibits good light fastness and excellent chemical resistance. It has a balanced profile regarding resistance, reactivity and compatibility with primary and secondary dispersions. Offers improved appearance (gloss and transparency), durability and easy handling. Suitable for low volatile organic compounds (VOC) & non-yellowing waterborne two-component (2K) systems. Basonat® HW 2100 is used in wood, industrial and automotive coatings.
