Basonat® HW 2100 by BASF is a water-dilutable hydrophilically-modified polyisocyanate. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Exhibits good light fastness and excellent chemical resistance. It has a balanced profile regarding resistance, reactivity and compatibility with primary and secondary dispersions. Offers improved appearance (gloss and transparency), durability and easy handling. Suitable for low volatile organic compounds (VOC) & non-yellowing waterborne two-component (2K) systems. Basonat® HW 2100 is used in wood, industrial and automotive coatings.
