GP PHENOLIC RESIN BKS 2610 LF by ASK Chemicals is a pure heat-reactive thermosetting phenol resin with a significantly reduced free formaldehyde content. Coatings can be modified with e.g. polyvinyl butyral to enable them to withstand shocks or rough handling and yet maintain their chemical resistance. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

Prepares durable finishes by cold blending. Addition level of 5 to 25% to oils or alkyd resins improves chemicals resistance, leveling, hardness, wetting as well as intercoat adhesion. Applications of GP PHENOLIC RESIN CK 2400 include can, pail & drum linings, metal primers, maintenance & marine, insulating varnish, wood finishes and printing inks. GP PHENOLIC RESIN 2620 by ASK Chemicals is a solid thermosetting alkylated phenolic/cresol resin. Offers good chemical resistance except against strong alkaline media. Used as a modifier for epoxy, vinyl and acrylic polymers to improve performance without sacrificing flexibility. The flexibility is nearly not influenced by the addition of the resin. Especially useful in providing excellent substrate wetting characteristics and intercoat adhesion to vinyl organosols. Suitable for most flexible baked coatings. Applications of GP PHENOLIC RESIN 2620 include can, pail & drum linings, metal primers and pipe coatings.
