GP PHENOLIC RESIN BKS 2600 by ASK Chemicals is a pure heat-reactive thermosetting phenol resol resin. Provides the highest level of chemical resistance except against strong alkaline media. Also provides very good adhesion on rigid metallic substrates. Coatings can be modified with e.g. polyvinyl butyral to enable them to withstand shocks or rough handling and yet maintain their chemical resistance. It can be used as sole binder for interior protective coatings for drums. GP PHENOLIC RESIN BKS 2600 is suitable for can, pail & drum linings, metal primers and pipe coatings.
