GP PHENOLIC RESIN 2620

GP PHENOLIC RESIN 2620 by ASK Chemicals is a solid thermosetting alkylated phenolic/cresol resin. Offers good chemical resistance except against strong alkaline media. Used as a modifier for epoxy, vinyl and acrylic polymers to improve performance without sacrificing flexibility. The flexibility is nearly not influenced by the addition of the resin. Especially useful in providing excellent substrate wetting characteristics and intercoat adhesion to vinyl organosols. Suitable for most flexible baked coatings. Applications of GP PHENOLIC RESIN 2620 include can, pail & drum linings, metal primers and pipe coatings.
